The short version: you run inspections, the AI drafts your reports, and you review everything before it goes to a client. You own your data. We charge $79 a month after a 30-day free trial, and you can cancel anytime.

What InspectAI is

InspectAI is a property inspection tool operated by Steps Ventures LLC. You capture photos, audio, and 3D scans on site. The service uses AI (Google Gemini) to draft inspection report narratives, and you share finished reports with your clients as web links. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself and give us accurate account information. You're responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has access to it, tell us right away.

Billing

• InspectAI costs $79 per month after a 30-day free trial. No card is needed to start the trial.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't store your card details.
• You can cancel anytime from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period you're in. We don't prorate partial months.
• If pricing changes, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before it affects you.

Your content

Everything you capture stays yours. That includes photos, audio, scans, notes, and finished reports. You give us permission to store and process that content, including sending it to Google Gemini, solely to provide the service. We don't use your inspection content to train AI models, and we don't sell it. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Your reports can contain your clients' names and property addresses. You're responsible for having your clients' permission to collect that information and to record audio where you work, since some states require consent from everyone recorded.

AI-drafted reports are drafts

This part matters. Gemini drafts narratives from your captures, and AI makes mistakes. You are the licensed professional. Review every finding and every narrative before you deliver a report to a client. InspectAI is a drafting tool, not a substitute for your professional judgment, and we're not liable for the contents of reports you choose to send.

Acceptable use

Don't use InspectAI to break the law, to capture people or property you don't have permission to record, to probe or overload the service, or to resell access without an agreement with us.

Availability and warranty

We work to keep the service up, but we don't promise uninterrupted availability, and the service is provided as-is. Capture features work offline in the iOS app, and your data syncs when you're back online.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including claims arising from inspection reports you deliver to third parties.

Ending service

You can close your account anytime. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we'll tell you why. Either way, you can ask for your data before it's deleted.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and email account holders before the change takes effect.
